Drying cabinets work with circulating warm air or a combination of warm air and dehumidification. The moisture is extracted from the clothing or equipment and removed in a controlled manner. In contrast to conventional dryers, the process takes place without mechanical movement – making the drying process particularly gentle on the material. Even delicate functional clothing, membrane fabrics or leather items retain their shape and function.

The drying time depends on the type of appliance, the load and the ambient temperature. As a rule, the drying time is between 30 minutes and 4 hours. Modern systems with intelligent controls automatically adjust the temperature and air flow to the humidity in the locker – this saves energy and ensures optimum results. Appliances with increased heat output or quick-drying programs are recommended for heavily soaked clothing or boots.
